Why Choose UV Adhesive?


In 2005, we decided to focus on one direction: building China’s own UV adhesive.

At that time, China’s adhesive industry already had a certain foundation, but UV adhesives as a segment were still mainly dominated by imported brands, with higher prices, longer delivery cycles, and relatively limited service response.

We chose UV adhesives not only because of a market gap, but also because of their material properties:
Aesthetic performance: After curing, transparent and colorless, does not affect product appearance, with almost no visible bonding trace
Environmental performance: Solvent-free system with low VOC emissions, more friendly to operators and the environment
High efficiency: UV light curing completes within seconds, significantly improving production efficiency and production line rhythm

Aesthetics, environmental protection, and high efficiency were forward-looking at that time and are still core trends in the industry today. We have always believed that this is a material technology with long-term value — it not only improves manufacturing processes, enhances end-product experience, but also helps protect the global living environment.

Therefore, we chose to continuously invest in this field and keep deepening our focus.

Starting from Zero: 2005–2008


In 2005, the company officially entered the UV adhesive field, and in 2007, Guangzhou Tobond Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. was established.

From the beginning, we made a clear direction: starting from formulation R&D rather than pure trading.

In a market dominated by imported brands, there were relatively few domestic companies capable of stable performance and continuous supply. Our goal was very clear: to achieve import substitution in key application areas.

During this stage, we faced a large number of real customer application requirements, such as:
Glass-to-crystal bonding requiring high transparency without whitening
Glass-to-metal bonding requiring resistance to thermal cycling
Structural bonding between different substrates requiring long-term stability

These practical requirements formed the core driving force of our early R&D.

By 2008, we had already achieved mature solutions in glass-to-metal and glass-to-crystal systems, and completed scaled validation. In the same year, UV adhesives for plastics were successfully developed and mass-produced, expanding into plastic-to-metal and plastic-to-glass applications.

Electronics and Emerging Consumer Fields Expansion: Post-2008


With the rapid development of the consumer electronics industry, UV adhesives began to extend into more precision applications.

We gradually entered electronic manufacturing applications, including:

Mobile phone keypad bonding, voice coil and diaphragm fixation, flexible cable bonding, solder joint protection, optical lens assembly, touchscreen and LCD module assembly processes.

The expansion of application scenarios also pushed product performance toward higher precision and more complex process requirements.

From glass and plastic structural parts to electronic precision components, we have continuously iterated our product system based on real customer production needs.

At the same time, in 2008, we had already begun exploring UV nail gel materials, marking the early stage of UV technology entering personal care applications.

Technology Breakthroughs Driven by Applications: 2015–2018


In 2015, we identified a key issue in customer production: some UV adhesive application areas had light-shadow zones where curing could not be fully achieved.

This problem could not be solved by adjusting product models alone, and required systematic improvements in curing mechanisms.

Based on this, in the following two years we developed:

UV–thermal dual-cure systems
UV–moisture dual-cure systems

These systems enable supplementary curing in areas where UV light cannot reach, improving reliability in complex structural applications.

This was not a laboratory concept, but an engineering solution directly derived from production line issues.

By 2017, we had formed systematic capability in multi-cure systems and cationic dark curing technologies, and obtained multiple utility model patents.

In 2018, the company was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise, and again in 2022, reflecting continuous technical accumulation.

Steady Development: 2021–2026


In 2021, based on UV materials’ properties such as transparency, fast curing, and safety, our product system further expanded into consumer beauty and personal care fields, launching UV hair extension adhesive and UV gel for press-on nails. This marked the extension of UV adhesive technology from industrial applications into daily consumer scenarios.

In 2023, Foshan Tobond New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was established, and passed ISO9001 quality management system certification and standardized safety production certification.

In 2025, we achieved breakthroughs in UV adhesive technology for optical fiber device bonding and semiconductor chip fixation processes.

In 2026, optical communication-grade UV adhesives for fiber applications were officially launched, marking further advancement in high-end precision optical materials.

These products require extremely high standards for refractive index matching, optical transmittance, and long-term durability, which further demonstrates our technical capability in precision applications.

Today and Future


Today, the company holds multiple utility model patents. Our products are exported to multiple countries and regions, serving customers across electronics manufacturing, home appliances, communications, automotive, and precision industrial sectors.

In addition to products and technology, we have also established a key market distributor and service cooperation system. This system covers multiple core markets, enabling localized technical support, faster response, and higher service efficiency.

With the rapid development of robotics, AI, semiconductors, and chip industries, the demand for UV adhesives continues to grow, with increasingly higher requirements for performance and precision.
